Welcome home
Are you looking for a church home in Mexico? You’ll receive a warm welcome every time you walk through our doors!

Lakeside Presbyterian Church is part of the Lake Chapala community, with members and friends attending from Jocotepec, San Juan Cosala, Ajijic, San Antonio Tlayacapan, Chapala — and everywhere in between. While we’re Presbyterian in how we run and organize our church, we have people representing a wide variety of Christian denominations in our midst.

You can find us just two blocks south of Mom’s Restaurant. Need more? Here’s a map.

Our regular English-language worship service starts at 10 AM on Sunday morning. We have two Spanish-language services: An early service is at 9 AM and the second service begins at noon.

December 4, 2016, Church Worship Service at 10 AM

This Advent season, as we get ready for Christmas, we worry about getting the perfect gift for that special someone … and wonderhow to how to feed 19 people when we have only enough plates for twelve.  But, of course, that’s not what Advent is supposed to be about.  Advent means “coming,” and this is the time of year when we await the Great Light – in the form of a little baby named Jesus – who came into the world over 2000 years ago. This week, Pastor Ross Arnold will help us remember that Light and what it means for us today.

Christmas Season Events

You’re invited to a Christmas concert Saturday, December 10 at 4 PM by the Lake Chapala Chorale led by Cindy Paul. A freewill offering will be taken to help support the Chorale.

On Sunday, December 18, the community is invited to a Christmas Open House at the home of Pastor Ross Arnold and Carolyn Hansen, Ocampo #200 in Ajijic, from 1 PM to 5 PM.

LPC’s Christmas Eve service—featuring our Children’s Choir—is at 4 PM on Saturday, December 24.

Sunday School for Adults at 8:30 AM

Every Sunday, we gather to discuss the passages from the lectionary that are read in our worship service.
