Welcome home
Are you looking for a church home in Mexico? You’ll receive a warm welcome every time you walk through our doors!

Lakeside Presbyterian Church is part of the Lake Chapala community, with members and friends attending from Jocotepec, San Juan Cosala, Ajijic, San Antonio Tlayacapan, Chapala — and everywhere in between. While we’re Presbyterian in how we run and organize our church, we have people representing a wide variety of Christian denominations in our midst.

You can find us just two blocks south of Mom’s Restaurant. Need more? Here’s a map.

Our regular English-language worship service starts at 10 AM on Sunday morning. We have two Spanish-language services: An early service is at 9 AM and the second service begins at noon.

August 28, 2016, Church Worship Service at 10 AM

While it may sometimes be hard to see, God continues to be very involved in the world – especially by providing for the needs of the Christian church.

On Sunday, August 28, Pastor Ross Arnold of Lakeside Presbyterian Church will offer a sermon entitled “For the Common Good” — considering how God continues to provide everything necessary for the church to flourish, if we will only be obedient.

Sunday School for Adults at 8:30 AM

We’ve begun a new Bible study (in addition to our regular study on Friday mornings at 9:45 AM). We read and discuss the passages from the lectionary that are read in our worship service.

NEW! Free lecture series on Fridays at 11 AM

We are hosting a lecture series on A History of Western Thought: Why We Think the Way We Do. The series began on Friday, August 12 and goes through September 30, with no lecture on September 9. Lectures start at 11 AM. See more details here. If you missed any of the lectures, they’re available on video here.
